Why Does Osama Hate Indiana?

You'd think that New York City is the place where the Department of Homeland Security would just dump all of its money, hoping against hope that another 9/11 wasn't in the future.

Nope, we've got New York's safety all locked up.

In an article by the New York Times yesterday, the place with the most listed terror targets is Indiana.

Yep. The Hoosier state. Over 8500 of them. This isn't an article from the Onion. I wish it were that funny.

And guess what else folks: The Empire State Building is NOT even on the list.

That's right, kids. The Department of Homeland Security thought to list the Apple and Pork Festival in Clinton, Illinois before even thinking of The Empire State Building.

And is the Department embarrassed about this flub?

No.

Not at all.
"We don’t find it embarrassing," said the department’s deputy press secretary, Jarrod Agen. "The list is a valuable tool."

Read the article. Please.
