Nightmares Reviews

The first two episodes of TNT's mini-series Nightmares and Dreamscapes aired tonight on TNT.

I could review them, but I'd rather leave it up to the guys who do it for a living. The review on Creature Corner is pretty good, so I'll leave you with it.

Just to give a sense of what I thought, though:
Overall, both adaptations were good in different ways. Battleground drifted away from the original story quite a bit, but it was good and intense and I was glad that it was chosen. However, I don't think that Crouch End should have been adapted in the first place. It's a story that reads well and should be left alone, as it is sort of a long and protracted - Creature Corner calls it a Lovecraftian Tale - work.
