"Nerdcore" is a pretty self-explanatory name for a new-ish type of hip-hop that combines beats with social awkwardness. From the site:

When I was a kid, one of the things I dreamed about most was having my own personal soundtrack. I know a lot of kids from the 80s thought the same thing...because we talked about it constantly.
