It's fun, but I hope it's not too long. I don't know if the jokey, faux-Austenian tone can sustain itself. Humor novels are a tough lot to write. I don't know how Christopher Moore does so with such consistent success.
ReplyDeleteI read an interview with Christopher Moore yesterday about that very topic. He says that most of the people who write humor end up in movies and television, so that's why there are so few novels of humor around.
